I am a professional guitar teacher with experience teaching students from ages 6-60+.
I offer guitar lessons over a range of styles (electric & acoustic) to suit your individual
needs and ability. One-to-one lessons enable you to progress more quickly and to your full potential.
Learn to play the guitar through the songs & styles that you enjoy.
Beginners welcome. All levels taught.
Master chords & scales enabling you to play all styles.
I am a musician, specialising in guitar, with over 10 years experience including
co-founding & playing a fusion of world music & latin with the band Zumba.
I also have experience playing a range of styles, which I teach, including:
rock, latin, heavy metal, thrash, black metal, death metal/grindcore,
grunge, punk, blues .......
neoclassical lead guitar technique -
incorporating theory related to harmonic minor and phrygian dominant scales,
their arpeggios and how to use them over chord sequences.
Sweep arpeggio technique.
acoustic styles which utilise a plectrum -
including latin jazz & a basic level of flamenco for beginners
I have a dedicated teaching room with tablature library, amps etc.
I can offer my students practical advice on all aspects of guitar.
I am a Member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT) and can offer tuition
leading to RGT grade examinations, in conjunction with the London College
of Music. This is optional as many students prefer to learn guitar without
taking formal grades.
I have an Advanced Diploma in Contemporary Popular Musics
and ITT Tutor Training Qualification.
I am situated near Norwich city centre,
Norfolk, NR2, East Anglia, UK. Map
Several minutes from Norwich city centre by
car, bike or bus or 15-20 minutes walk.
By Bus - No. 25 running between Norwich Train
Station, through the city centre and along Unthank Rd.
